I had the honor of doing a photo session today for an amazing family. Kimberly Vaughn and her two kids Reagan and Chamberlyn are visiting family here in Hawaii. Which led to one of my friends calling me up and asking if I would be interested in doing a photo session of them. I got a little teary eyed at the request. Kimberly’s husband Aaron was killed in August of 2011 along with 21 other Navy SEALS. Not only was he a husband but he was a father to two beautiful kids. I feel so privileged to have been able to meet such an extraordinary woman with such tremendous strength. This family is ADORABLE, the kids didn’t cry at all, they were all smiles. Reagan likes to climb rocks and enjoys M&Ms (bribery for smiles!) Chamberlyn seems to enjoy everything but sand
Thank you so much for allowing me to do this session Kimberly, it really holds a special place in my heart and makes my job so rewarding but most of all thank you for your sacrifice. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed doing them.
